I love photography. The still image catches me more than video ever does, leaving space to explore beyond the image.

Old Photos

I got a huge stack of old photos and slides from my Dad and I'm slowly working my way through scanning them. I threw a heap up on flickr but the uploader went bananas yesterday so I've got a heap of duplicates to dig through.

Anyway, it brings back great memories of growing up.me.

Saltspring Photos

I Went to Saltspring Island on Saturday with some family. It was nice


I don't know what these are called but they're beautiful.


The geese weren't too happy with us clomping around.


The coastguard has some sweet boats these days.


Oh, and the moss in the damper areas is pretty neat-o.

I'm down with Iron Man, but can it actually be considered a "Summer Blockbuster" before it hits the screen?

I mean, sure if it makes a ton of money (over 100 million US on release) then it's a blockbuster. Right now though it's really just Jon Favreau's Iron Man.

Cabbage Rolls

It was just before Christmas.
The best time of the year to make cabbage rolls.

1. Cabbage in hot water.

2. Grandma separating cabbage for rolling

3. Filling and rolling.

4. Stacking for baking.

5. Wait for them to be ready so we can eat.
